NIMONIC alloys are combination of nickel and chromium. nimonic alloys are divided by their high-temperature low-creep and high performance. Alloy 75 is an 80/20 Nickel -Chromium alloy with controlled carbon and titanium additions.The alloy is easily fabricated and welded. UNS N06075 may be forged between 2230 and 1750ºF followed by air cooling.Nimonic 75 has good mechanical properties and oxidation resistance at high temperatures. Nimonic 75 round bar  is generally used which require oxidation and scaling resistance together with medium strength at high operating temperatures like for sheet metal fabrications .W.Nr. 2.4951 is also used in for components of industrial furnaces, gas turbine engines, for heat treating equipment and fixtures, and in nuclear engineering.
