HEUBACH INTERNATIONAL is an exporter of S355 Structural Steel Plates, known for massive strength and competence in hostile conditions. Offering quality products at pocket-friendly prices, we are suppliers of S355 JR High Strength Plates, sourced from the best mills, locally and internationally.
What is S355 Structural Steel Plate ?
S355 High Strength Structural Steel Plates are high strength, low alloy steel plates falling under the EN 10025: 2004 European standard. It offers minimum yield strength of 50 ksi and a minimum tensile strength of 470-630 Mpa; it is a low carbon structural steel plate with marvellous usability.
Likewise, we are stockist of S355 JR, S355JO, S355J2, S355K2 and S355J2 + N, available as high tensile and high strength, normalized or control rolled steel plates.
The length of the plate can vary according to customer requirement as well. The material has low carbon content with manganese. The S355 Steel Plate is made up of 0.2% carbon, 1.6% manganese, silicon, sulfur and phosphorus in the composition. The minimum yield strength of this grade of steel plates is at 355MPa. The S355 Mild Steel Plate is good for welding because of the low carbon content and good machining properties because of the manganese content.
Some standard symbols used to refer these Structural Steel plates are:
S Structural Steel
355 minimum yield strength
J2 / K2 / JR / JO material toughness
N Normalized
W Weathering Steel
